LooseHeadz are thrilled to announce our multi-year kit partnership with Scimitar Sportswear for LooseHeadz RFC. The collaboration sees Scimitar becoming the charity’s Official Technical Kit Partner, supplying the playing and training wear.
Born in 2005, Scimitar set out to revolutionise custom sportswear. Scimitar began with a simple goal: to make high-quality, custom sportswear accessible to everyone. LooseHeadz are proud to partner with a global leader whose designs are driven by innovation and sustainability.
LooseHeadz RFC is more than a rugby team – it’s a vehicle for connection, conversation and belonging. By uniting players from different clubs and backgrounds, it creates opportunities for friendship, support and shared experiences while helping to tackle the stigma around mental health in rugby. Through matches and events, the team reaches new communities, spreads the LooseHeadz message and gives players the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves.
Dave Nicoll, Co-Founder at LooseHeadz said: “LooseHeadz RFC was created to take our mission on the road, bringing people together through rugby to create a community that helps to support people’s mental health. As the community continues to grow, we’re delighted to welcome Scimitar Sportswear as our official technical kit partner. Their reputation for producing high-quality, performance-led sportswear, combined with a genuine understanding of community sport, made them a natural fit for us.
This partnership is about more than just kit; it’s about representing a movement. Every time our players pull on the LooseHeadz jersey, they’re helping to raise awareness of mental health and the power of rugby to connect people. We’re excited to work alongside Scimitar as we continue to grow that impact together.”
Adam Church-Millward, Head of Marketing at Scimitar Sportswear added: “We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with LooseHeadz and supporting the continued growth of LooseHeadz RFC.
This is exactly the sort of partnership we love to be part of. It brings together rugby, community, purpose and performance, with kit that not only needs to look and feel right on the pitch, but also represent something much bigger off it.
LooseHeadz have built a powerful movement around mental health in rugby, and LooseHeadz RFC is a brilliant extension of that mission. It stands for something important, and we want to play our part in bringing that to life. The kit has to perform on the pitch, but it also has to mean something to the players wearing it and those supporting the cause.
We’re excited to play our part and look forward to supporting Dave, Rob, Mark and the wider LooseHeadz team over the coming seasons.”
