We started life in a rugby club bar in 2017. We’d all had friends who’d had some form of mental health issue. These weren’t all rugby players, and they weren’t all adults, but the one unifying thing was that The LooseHeadz all felt poorly qualified to do anything positive for their mates. This impotence drove us to form LooseHeadz.
Everybody has mental health. Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean that it’s not important. We need to take care of ourselves and others.
Mental health affects 1 in 4 people each year. Whether that be yourself, family, friends or work colleagues. It’s important to talk.
LooseHeadz is for everybody. We started this so that people who need help can get it; our promise is that 100% of the money raised by our foundation is used to help #TackleTheStigma. If we can help one person then this will all be worthwhile.
To make a difference in the rugby community and to provide a platform to talk about mental health.
