We’re proud to officially launch the new LooseHeadz Toolkit– a free, flexible set of mental health resources designed to support everyone involved in the rugby community.
At LooseHeadz, our mission is to tackle the stigma around mental health and save lives by placing a mental health champion- “a LooseHead”- in every rugby club around the world.
The updated Toolkit brings together everything clubs need to support mental fitness, including:
– Free CPD-accredited mental health training for adults, youth and university rugby
– Downloadable guides, posters and awareness content
– Clear signposting to trusted mental health and suicide prevention partners
– Resources designed specifically for the rugby community

The Toolkit is free to all partner clubs and can be used flexibly- whether that’s sharing content digitally, displaying posters around the clubhouse, or supporting conversations within teams.
We’ve already supported over 1,400 clubs across 36 countries, and with the launch of the new Toolkit, we’re taking another step towards making mental health part of everyday rugby culture.
There is more support coming internationally too- we’re working with unions in Scotland, Wales, USA and Australia.
Because this started as a conversation at the end of a bar- and with your help, it can be a conversation in every rugby club, everywhere.
You can get your club signed up HERE for free and once your chair has signed off on the registration, you can get started on helping LooseHeadz to #tacklethestigma, one mental health champion at a time. If you and your club are registered already, click HERE.
