Breaking a Guinness World Record is not easy. It takes an incredible team behind the scenes.
As we prepare to take on the longest continuous games of men’s and women’s Rugby Sevens ever played on 24 – 25 July at Sandbach RUFC, we’re proud to have a fantastic group of partners standing alongside us.
Every one of them is helping us create an event that not only aims to make history, but raises vital awareness of mental health in rugby.
Kennedy Renewables continue their support of LooseHeadz by sponsoring the playing kit for our 24/7s challenge. Their backing has helped us continue our mission of placing a mental health champion in every rugby club around the world, and we’re delighted to have them alongside us once again.
Fourfive joins us as our Official Hydration Partner. Co-founded by former England international and friend of LooseHeadz George Kruis, Fourfive will be keeping players, officials and volunteers hydrated throughout the challenge with its award-winning electrolytes served from their Hydration Defender – because performing for 24 continuous hours takes serious preparation. George will also be lacing up his boots and taking part in the mammoth challenge!
Budgy Smuggler will also be supporting the challenge as a kit sponsor, helping ensure our players are equipped for every minute of this incredible endurance event.
Keeping everyone protected from the elements, Lancaster will be supplying face and body SPF for players, match officials and volunteers throughout the weekend, helping keep everyone sun-safe from the first whistle to the last.
Every world record attempt needs a little pick-me-up. That’s where Swizzels come in, generously supplying sweets for well-earned sugar boosts through every hour of the challenge. Because sometimes, a Squashies break is exactly what’s needed.
And after 24 hours of non-stop rugby, we’ll all be grateful to Rock Face, who are generously providing deodorant to help keep players, volunteers and officials feeling fresh throughout the challenge.
To every partner supporting 24/7s, thank you. Your support allows us to deliver an event unlike anything rugby has ever seen before while shining a light on the importance of mental health.
Together, we’re proving that when rugby comes together, incredible things happen.
