Conversation Starters

Conversation Starters

During this year’s 6 Nations, we are working with our friends at People’s Captain to help start better conversations.

Below are a number of great questions you can use to start better conversations, and really find out how those around you are doing.

How are you? Out of 10?

What in life is putting a smile on your face at the moment?

What is helping you to chill out or relax?

What is challenging you right now?

What is worrying you or stressing you out?

How are you feeling, is everything OK with you?

How are you? How are you really?

As you can see, these aren’t the simple questions we normally ask our mates like “how are you?” where it’s easy to provide a generic answer like “fine” or “ok”. Instead these questions are designed to dig a little deeper and help find out how someone is really doing.

If you, or someone you know is struggling, you can find out more about how to get help & support here.
