Friday Night Lights: The Tyrwhitt Cup – LooseHeadz RFC vs Chiswick RFC

On Friday 20th February, we’re heading under the lights at Chiswick RFC for a game that brings together everything LooseHeadz stands for – rugby, community and looking after each other.

LooseHeadz RFC vs Chiswick RFC will be played for the Tyrwhitt Cup, made possible thanks to Charles Tyrwhitt, one of our amazing supporters. It’s a night built around grassroots rugby and a shared mission to save lives by improving mental health support across the game.

This is about more than just the rugby.Chiswick RFC are one of our partner clubs and part of our mission to place a Mental Health Champion at every rugby club in the world. This fixture is a celebration of that partnership, and of clubs using their platforms to make a real difference to the people who walk through their doors every week.

On the pitch, we’ve got a proper Friday night headliner:Matt Dawson (coaching LooseHeadz RFC) vs Max Lahiff (coaching Chiswick RFC)Two big personalities in rugby coming together to support the cause and go back to their roots with grassroots rugby.

The evening will be hosted by Ben Jon – The Rugby Trainer, keeping things moving and bringing the energy from start to finish.

LooseHeadz started in a rugby club bar with a few mates who didn’t always know what to say when their mates were going through a tough time, but knew they couldn’t ignore what they were seeing around them. That’s still what drives us today.Games like the Tyrwhitt Cup help us support clubs, empower Mental Health Champions, and make sure people in rugby know that help is there when they need it.
