We are excited to announce The Match for Mental Health will be held at The Cardiff Arms Park on Friday 7th of November with a 7.30pm kick off. LooseHeadz RFC and Tough Enough to Care will go head to head, coached by British & Irish and Wales legends, Alex Cuthbert and Josh Navidi.
The match is more than just a rugby game; it’s a platform to raise vital funds and awareness around the work being done by LooseHeadz and Tough Enough to Care, two charities dedicated to supporting mental health.
LooseHeadz: As rugby’s mental health charity, LooseHeadz is on a mission to place a mental health lead at every rugby club in the world.
Tough Enough to Care: There focus is towards male dominated spaces, to promote positive conversation around mental health and to remove the toxic stigma surrounding mental health within these spaces.
The Match for Mental Health promises to be a day to remember. Taking place in the heart of Cardiff, this match not only about rugby but also about bringing people together, celebrating the power of rugby, and promoting the conversation around mental health.
Why your support matters: By joining us you’re not only enjoying a great evening of rugby, but you will also be making a meaningful impact. Events like these are pivotal in growing awareness around mental health and ensuring the support is accessible to all who need it.
We’d love for you to be a part of this special day and our journey to make a difference in mental health through sport.
