On Monday 11th May, we are teaming up with FAB Rugby to bring you a full day of rugby content. We will be connecting with a range of guests from all around the world with the real focus of highlighting the importance around staying connected during this difficult time. We have a bunch of games, quizzes and general light-hearted entertainment, so tune in and get involved!
This is what we’ve got coming up…
A Premiership Rugby Quiz
We have one player from each Premiership Rugby club taking part in a general knowledge quiz. This is a chance for each player to represent their club to be known as the quiz master.
A Cooking Class with Ethan Waller
Worcester man Ethan Waller will be taking us through how to cook a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. Complimented with some good honest rugby chat, we delve into the love Ethan has for cooking.
Brad Shields and Beauden Barrett – LooseHeadz ambassador Brad Shields will be reconnecting with his former Hurricanes teammate Beaduen Barrett to emphasise the point of catching up with old mates during this difficult time.
John Hardie and Nasi Manu – LooseHeadz ambassador John Hardie will be joined by former Highlanders teammate Nasi Manu to highlight the importance of staying connected.
Karl Dickson – We will be having a chat with Karl Dickson to talk about his impressive rugby career and how he transitioned into becoming a referee.
Battle of the Brothers
We have 3 sets of Premiership Rugby brothers taking part in a few challenges in a bit of fun that we are labelling the Battle of the Brothers. It’s Sale Sharks (Sam and Luke James) v Wasps (Jack and Tom Willis) v Harlequins (Ross and James Chisholm).
Rugby Nause for a Good Cause
We have Ugo Monye and David Flatman going head-to-head in a quiz to test their rugby knowledge. Tune in to see who is the bigger rugby nause!
Mental Health Chat
Throughout the day, there will be little snippets from our wonderful partners Team Mental Health, focusing on mental health and how to work on your mental fitness throughout this difficult time.
AND…we’d love you to get involved too!! We are asking you to recreate your favourite rugby moments (photo or video) and send them through to us for a chance to be featured.
