LooseHeadz x The RPA

LOOSEHEADZ ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE A COLLABORATION WITH THE RUGBY PLAYERS ASSOCIATION (RPA).

Ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week from the 15th – 21st May, LooseHeadz is teaming up with the RPA to produce a social media led content series.

The Rugby Players Association is the representative body and collective voice of professional rugby players in England. They represent more than 800 male and female rugby players, as well as more than 400 former players.

Their mission is to support, promote and protect the interests of their members, from the moment they sign their first professional contracts, throughout their playing careers, and beyond as they embark on the next phase of their lives.

The collaboration will also see the two organisations co-create and deliver a number of workshops to clubs and retired players, as well as creating some bespoke merchandise, which will be available to purchase.

Speaking of the collaboration, James Bailey, RPA’s Wellbeing & Transition Manager, said: We are delighted to announce our collaboration with LooseHeadz . We will be working together on a number of key initiatives that we believe will have a positive impact and upskill our members in managing their mental fitness.

Rob Shotton, Co-Founder of LooseHeadz, added: “This is super exciting for us. With LooseHeadz having a big focus in the grassroots game, and the RPA solely focussing on the professional game, this collaboration means that we can reach and support more rugby players to tackle the stigma around mental health and make it a normal conversation.”
